Eva Sweetie!

Eva is such a sweetie! She has really been coming into her own. She says funny things all the time, and surprises us with deep thoughts! Eva is very thoughtful and helpful. I caught her helping Dad mow the lawn last week. How cute! The first pic was taken threw the window, I was trying to capture a candid shot, then I went outside, and I got caught, but I love the picture of Dad and Eva smiling together. I'm proud of my little girl!!!

I bought some notebooks on clearance for the kids to doodle in. Eva used up her notebook in about a week. I showed her how to draw hearts, and she's been drawing hearts non stop! She's also been enjoying putting all those letters into words, she asks me to tell her how to spell all sorts of words. I love her enthusiasm for learning!

Boys of Fall!!!

JJ has been playing flag football this year. He has really enjoyed it!!! He especially likes that Spencer is coach. It's a tough job coaching 11, 1st and 2nd graders. Go Team Big Foot!!!

It's Autumn Time!!!

Yesterday we went on a drive to see the fall leaves. We drove the Alpine Loop, it did not disappoint, it was a beautiful day, and the colors were amazing. We had a picnic at Sundance, and then drove back through American Fork Canyon. One of the highlights was that we got to see wild turkeys, probably a dozen of them. Hmmm, can't wait for Thanksgiving!!! Speaking of thanksgiving, I really feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place!

Brava Eva!

Eva is such a brave girl! A few days before preschool we went to an open house, that is when we found out that there were 16 kids in her class (including 3 year olds), and only one teacher. I did not feel comfortable sending her there any more. She loved her preschool, friends and teacher, and I was very worried about how she would do with change. I stressed and stressed over what to do, finally I asked her how she felt about trying a new preschool, her reply, "Sure, Mom!" Well she helped me decide, she loves her new preschool! She is such a strong girl, I was surprised to see how easy the change was for her! Way to go brEVA!
We recently went to Lagoon, and then bounced back again. Here Eva is in the little kid rides, but she really loves riding the big rides. She is a little short for most of the big rides, but she got to ride, The Bat, Tidal Wave, Rattlesnake rapids, bombora, and the log ride. Her favorite was Tidal Wave. She is so brave, she can't wait to ride all the big rides with Dad and JJ!!!
