LUCKY!!!

We have lucked out with some nice weather, for March anyways. I found a park near JJ's school, so we stopped there after school on short day. We were lucky enough to see 6 deer about 30 feet away, so cool! They were a lot closer to us than in the picture, but it took me a minute to get the camera out.

Last Saturday we hosted a Birthday Breakfast for Grandma Julia. We had a great time, and of course lots of food. I did not eat lunch that day! Happy Birthday Mom! Love ya!

After the party we went on our first bike ride of the year. This was Eva's first time riding her own bike, she did a great job! Of course it was Cy's first time ever, he had fun until the sun was in his eyes on the way back, he had a hat but kept pulling at it, next time we'll take sun glasses!

Friday night Spencer and I went on a date, when we got back the kids where making cookies! They sure are lucky!

And finally, the luckiest of all... JJ & Eva!!! Lucky the Leprechaun visited us. JJ made a trap and wrote a sweet note that said, "Please get in the box, I will take care of you!" Lucky wrote, "Your offer to take care of me was so sweet instead I left a treat. I need to get home you see, to take care of my family." Lucky left a candy trail to the table where there was Lucky Charms, which lucky poured himself, see how messy. Lucky also turned the milk green! The kids were so excited, you would have thought it was Christmas!!!

 Eva has been enjoying life, dressing up, playing house, and sledding. I have tried to set aside special time for Eva, it's mostly time we work on homework or read, but it has made a big difference, she has seems real happy and full of joy!!!

 

Cy is jabbering a lot, of course he says DA DA DA DA all day long.Cy has been on the move. Rollin', scootin', and even a little army crawling. It's fun to see him eye a toy, and then go for it. The kiddo hadn't been sleeping very good, turns out he had a double ear infection. Now his teeth are bugging him, he's got some swollen gums. 

Speaking of teeth, JJ's got some loose teeth, he's constantly got a finger in his mouth wiggling his teeth, he really wants a tooth to fall out, but I think it's going to be a while. JJ keeps me busy running around. School, Gymnastics, Skiing, and homework. JJ just finished his first Chapter book, The Magic Tree House. JJ has really enjoyed reading chapter books and even asked if he could go to book club with me. JJ got a special award from school, the super star student award. The award was for, "Always being happy for others who win." I love that, I think it nails his character, he is such a sweet boy!!! So Proud of you JJ!

And finally... I have to add this picture, because it may never happen again! :) I beat Spencer 3 of our last four games!!!!
