Life Changing

My life will not be the same!!! I wouldn't change the fact that I have my four beautiful children, I just haven't quite figured out how I will make everything work. Having two babies is hard. Cy is into everything, and when I'm not cleaning up after him I'm taking care of Ana. Truth be told I should be cleaning my bathrooms right now, but instead I'm taking a moment to document our lives, which can be sort of therapeutic for me.
I feel like I have to clean up after a storm everyday, and the storm is named CY! He screams a lot, and he ends up in time out frequently. I'm not sure why he screams, because he has quite a large vocabulary, but only uses it when he sees fit. He says a new word almost daily, but you may never know unless your around him all day.

I started reading lessons with Eva, and I am so impressed with her progress. She now had started inventive spelling! This week she had her dance recital, she was so excited, we were excited to watch her perform. Because my birthday is in December my Mom would take me to a holiday concert, breakfast with Santa, or many times the Nutcracker. I have really wanted to take Eva, and thought that this might be a good year for her to see it. I really enjoyed going, and she has talked about it a lot, but while we were there she just kept asking if it was time to go home yet, perhaps it was just a little too long.

JJ has really become a mathematician. Spencer has been teaching JJ some advanced concepts, and he is doing really great! I've been surprised by the progress. At PTC, JJ's teacher said she would let JJ check out books from the library, because her collection of books is too easy for him. This week he got to check them out by himself, he read two 70+ page chapter books in 3 days. I think he enjoys being able to go to the library by himself to check out books. JJ will be starting basketball next week, watch for updates!!! :)

Welcome Ana!!!

Sweet Baby Ana was born Nov 19 2012. She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches. It's hard to believe that she is almost 4 weeks old.
I was scheduled to be induced on the 19th, until I got a call that there were too many c-sections scheduled that day. I was so ready, so when they canceled on me I was an emotional wreck! Well I started labor on Sunday night, Monday morning I called nurse and asked if we could get this show on the road. Thankfully she told me to go to the hospital, and after about 20 hours of labor (my shortest) little Ana was born.
Ana is so sweet! She is a good sleeper, when she's not sleeping, she wants to eat or be held. We just love her to pieces, and we are so thankful she is healthy!
JJ has been a big help in keeping Cy happy. Eva is looking forward to playing girly things with Ana. Cy has really been gentle with her, at first he called her kitty, and would lay down next to her, and put his arm around her, like he does to Lindsey (our cat). Ana has been called Lindsey a time or two, but I'm not going to say by who.
Welcome Baby Ana, we love you!!!
