Got to see it

Friday I drove by Temple Square and it looked amazing. I decided that we had to take the kids there. So Saturday we went to the Gateway and did some shopping, then we took trax to Temple Square. The flowers are so beautiful (especially east of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building). It was rainy and cold, but we had a great time.

Murray City had an open house for a new fire station on Thursday. Of course we had to go, JJ is obsessed with anything "firefighter". He was in heaven!

I don't want to jinx it...

Eva has been sleeping through the night!!! I think it's been 6 straight nights that she's been sleeping from 9 to 7. Yea!!! Things are looking up. The warm weather always makes me happy. Our first tulip bloomed today, and the grass is green- I love it! I'm excited, because we are going to have tons of tulips this year. Last year I separated the bulbs, and now they are everywhere.
Friday night my Mom and sisters and I went to dinner and then we went and stayed at the Little America. We stayed up until 4:00 playing Settlers, hello- I thought I might catch up on sleep, not get less. Oh well, we had a lot of fun. Saturday we went shopping and got pedicures. It was my Mom's first pedi ever- poor gal. :) I think she enjoyed it. As for me, it was my first real break from the kids, although it was just one night I really enjoyed the time to myself. And bless Spencer, he had the house in order when I got home, I thought I would come home to complete chaos, instead it was orderly. Hey, maybe I should do this more often. :)

This morning we went to Gardner Village, just to get out and enjoy the weather. It was beautiful!

Happy Easter

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter. Easter morning Spencer had an 8:00 meeting, so he got in the shower, and I was still in bed. I heard the bathroom door open, and the shower was on, so I thought maybe we were out of soap or something. Then JJ yells to Spencer, "Dad, I got a scooter!" He was so excited, I think Holidays are so much fun right now.

Saturday we went to the city egg hut. JJ was so funny, when the hunt was on he ran all the way across the field, he probably passed 1000 eggs. He got to the edge of the field and then started picking up eggs, it turned out to be a great strategy, he got plenty of eggs. There were two Easter Bunnies there, he really liked the white one. He says that's the one that came to our house. The firefighters start the hunt with their siren, and they allow the kids to see the truck afterward. I think that was the highlight of the day!

Here are my cuties in their Easter outfits.

The Monster

Monday I took Eva to Primary Children's Hospital to get tubes. We thought that would be our salvation. She hasn't been a good sleeper since November. She's had ear infection after ear infection and she doesn't sleep well when she's had one. Last week after her surgery she has slept worse than she ever had, up every 1-2 hours... nightmare!!! So I had a week from hell last week. Monday we took Eva in for her nine month check up, the doctor said we just got to let her cry it out. So two days down and she's already sleeping better-Yea!
So I was sitting there feeding the little monster one day and I realized that I don't have any messy face pictures of her. I have tons of JJ, but I've never taken any of Eva, and I don't know what it is about the messy face, but I love it!

The last couple days have been beautiful, so we've been enjoying playing outside. I've decided to get a picture of JJ in his firefighter hat everyday for a month. He doesn't leave the house without it. I took him to get a haircut last week, but I never see it, so I forget that it was cut.
