Flip Flops one day... Boots the next

One thing that occured to me in this weeks photos was the wardrobe change. Saturday and Sunday were beautiful, it went down hill from there.

 

Fun at Grandma's house. Thanks to everyone for putting up with Eva (she screamed and whined all night) I took her to the pediatrician on Monday (more for my sanity than anything) turns out she had double ear infections. Poor Girl!

Another thing I noticed about the pictures is that we are in the kitchen all the time. How much time do you spend in the kitchen? I feel like between preparation, eating, and clean up x3 we are in there 8 hours a day.

Life...

My oh my, where did the week go. This week was busy... t-ball, preschool, dentist apt., play dates, enrichment group, farewell, wedding, not to mention the hours and hours I spent in the yard.

 

The kids and I went to the Zoo with Kris and the kids, it was a windy, and cold, but nice to get out. Thanks Kris!!!

 

Spencer and I at Brijesh & Reena's wedding dinner at Tuscany (Yum!!!) We are not really drinking out of these straws, our glasses were a foot or more away. I get a kick out of this, silly Holli! :)

My nephew Preston's farewell was on Sunday, he's off to the Columbus Ohio mission. Good Luck!!!

 

At a T-ball game, Eva was very interested in Daddy's new hair do.

Eva was feeling a little sick this week, I think she's fine now. 

Ratatouille Moments

JJ got strawberries for lunch and asked for some cheese, he told me, "Mom, I want to try something". I knew exactly what that something was Cheese and Strawberries. Spencer had watched the kids while I hosted an enrichment group, the watched Ratatouille. If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about.

T-Ball, T-Ball, and more T-Ball

JJ had his first T Ball game on Saturday, he is #9 on the Red Sox, and his Uncle Jon is his coach. The second game was on Wednesday and today they had a little practice, so this week has been all about T-Ball.

Sunday JJ got a CTR crown and shield (right up his alley) from Primary, I thought Eva looked adorable when she put it on (upside down).

Head Stands at Tumbling

 

Beautiful afternoon at Gardner Village, the kids love feeding the ducks, and just being outside.

 

This ones from Wed. game, I love that their jerseys actually have their names on them!

 

Dad always make a soapy Mohawk for the little one. Too Cute!!!

Saturday the whole family went over to some friends house, while the adults were playing games, JJ ran over and says "I read, On Demand". I was blown away, we don't have cable so he wouldn't know what "On Demand" even is, he read it all by himself. He reads things quite often, but they are usually small words, or words he's read in a lesson, this one was totally new, so proud!

Easter

We had a really good Easter Weekend. Saturday we went to a farm for an Easter Egg hunt, a fire truck was there, we got to go on a hay ride, had some hot chocolate, we had a good time despite the cold.
The Easter Bunny likes to hide candy in the house, Eva loved it, she probably ate 10 candies before she got to her basket, we had to find all the candy so she would stop eating it all. We enjoyed spending the day at home, listening to conference, just spending time together. Later we went to Grandmas house for our annual Easter Egg Hunt.

JJ got Spiderman skates from the Easter Bunny. Cool!!!

 

Eva got this "ice cream" truck for Easter, we let the Easter Bunny know the kids both love Thomas, and it might be a good idea to get another ride-on toy.  

Eva has enjoyed Tumbling with JJ!

 

Remember to beware of trees when flying a kite, that where this one went, Super Mom was able to get it out though!!!

Happy April

I like to keep track of all the JJisms, you know things only JJ would say. Well this one is a Prattism, we all say it, I don't remember how it came about, but anytime someone wants to put on their comfy cloths we say, "I'm going to put on my Utah Jazz." "Utah Jazz" refers to sweat pants, track suits, ect, anything that is comfy. One thing that the kids say is YoYo, it's not the toy it means yogurt, Eva started saying YoYo, now JJ says it too.

I made these yummy cupcakes on Sunday. The Pratt's got together, we had an Easter Egg Hunt, so I made these to look like eggs hiding in the grass.

   

Monday we went to aquarium, the new penguin exhibit was cool, I thought it was fun to see the anaconda out of the water. We go to the aquarium all the time, but this was the first time we really got to see the anaconda.

 

I signed JJ up for an 8 week tumbling class, tuesday was his first class.
