This Week...

 

I really choked on Monday, I didn't take a picture, but to my surprise when I downloaded the pictures from the camera there was one. I remembered JJ taking the camera out of my bag while we were at Walmart, but I didn't know he actually took one. 

Enjoying being outside for a few minutes.

 

I dished the kids food up so it would cool off, then

I opened the fridge to get some grapes. In the time it took me to get the grapes Eva's food was on the floor. Eva is a really good eater, just a little impatient.

 

There is always Super Hero action in our house!

Thanks to Ja and Kris for inviting us to My Gym, the kids had a great time! I had to include a picture of each kiddo. 

 

The Two Towers

Ok, so there are more more than two, but I had to name it that because Spencer and I have been watching the Lord of the Rings.

 

"Mell", Eva loves to smell Mommy's roses, she yells "mell" all day long. 

Tonight I was thinking I need to get some video of Eva walking, sometimes she has this swagger that it soooo cute!!! One of her arms is at 90 degrees and she moves it from side to side as she walks. I decided to describe it, because we are usually not lucky enough to record what we really want to. I've been dying to record her say SASSY too, but no such luck.

JJ has really been into Scooby Doo lately. At lot of the shows that he watches drive me crazy, but Scooby Doo is pretty cool.

JJ loved Valentines Day, as he does all holidays. Last week was a lot of fun, and busy. We had fun watching the Super Bowl with the Pratt's. We celebrated Lily's birthday that day, I'm still thinking about that yummy cake, Kris- Thanks!!! I finally took the kids to get their pictures taken, I hadn't got JJ's 4 year picture, and Eva at 18 mon. JJ got to celebrate Valentines at Preschool, he really enjoyed that. Friday we were able to go with Lily to the Aquarium for her birthday, that was fun. JJ sang an extended version of Happy Birthday to Lily, it had Kris and I laughing. Saturday Spencer and I were able to go to the temple with my nephew Preston. Seriously, how did that happen? Preston will be leaving for his mission to Columbus Ohio in April- crazy!!! When we got home from the temple I started baking. I made 140 sugar cookies. My family gets together every month for birthdays. Each family takes a turn giving a family home evening lesson. I was in charge this month, my Mom suggested we do something fun for Valentines day, so I made the cookies, the kids decorated them, and we delivered a plate of cookies and a rose to 12 singles in my Mom's condo complex. It was wonderful, the kids enjoyed it, and the cute old ladies kissed and hugged the kids. One woman answered the door and practically screamed with delight, "My first Valentine!!!" We had a great Valentines Day, I hope you did too! Eva started to say I you this week, I'm pretty sure it means I love you.

Happy Valentines!

Sassy!!!

My favorite moment of the week was when Eva and I ran to get some groceries, I was at a stop light and Eva yells, "Go!" After yelling go she screams then called herself sassy, then she screamed and said sassy again and again. It was so funny to hear her proclaim herself Sassy! Eva is saying more and more each day, she even says a few sentences (small ones).

JJ got a little tummy bug this week, so we had a few rough days. Both kids have been a little emotional lately, but especially JJ. Why? What can I do? It drives me crazy!!!
