So I realize...

I am terrible about posting on the same day, however, I am still posting a picture for everyday. This week was a little crazy, Sunday I had to give a talk in Sacrament. That evening two friends came to stay with us, their parents are in Italy (Lucky), so between 4 kids demands I've been pretty busy. JJ really enjoyed their company and even cried when they left. I on the other hand have enjoyed getting back to routine, getting the house cleaned, and the quite.

Cold weather, warm weather, St. Patty's Day, Happy Birthday Mom! Day Light Saving... wow, this day light savings has really taken a toll on me. Maybe it's because I wake up at 6:00 to go to the gym.

 

Playing while JJ is at Preschool. Eva is really good to help me clean while JJ is at school, but we always try and have some fun time. I don't know why, but it's really hard to get any cleaning done when JJ's home.?

 

These days Eva always has crazy hair, no matter what I do with it, her hair eventually looks like this.My Mom's birthday was on Friday, she took the day off, and my niece had asked if she would go to her school for lunch. We ended up going with, it was fun, JJ loved it, he is really excited to got to first grade, when he can take a lunch box.

 

It may look warm on "Mars", but it was freezing that day. We wanted to get out that day, so we went to the Planetarium, we took trax and ended up cold and wet from walking to and from lunch, but we enjoyed spending time with Dad.

 

Boxes are always the best toy.

The funny/not so funny things they say.

Eva loves JJ and she copies him all the time. She now loves to ask, "Why?" She knows when to ask it, which is really annoying, she shouldn't know when it's appropriate to ask why for another year :). How do they learn to always ask why? I think it's true that a Mom's number one response is "BECAUSE", because we are asked why all to frequently. Lately my response to JJ is, "Why do you always have to ask why?" I don't think he likes it much. The other thing Eva learned that is really sassy is, "NO WAY!!!" Seriously? Yes, it was funny the first couple times, not anymore.

OK, total shocker- JJ actually listens in Sacrament Meeting, well I guess sometimes. Maybe it's because we don't allow him to play with toys until after the sacrament. The kids and I were standing in the line at the post office yesterday, JJ decided to start reciting the first article of faith. That led into him reciting the sacrament prayer. I couldn't stop chuckling. I'm sure some people where wondering what the heck this little boy is talking about, but I got a kick out of it.

Character...

Lately JJ has been a real character. As I've mentioned JJ loves Scooby Do. This week whenever I tell something he doesn't like, for example: Time to clean up, he says, "Grrr, Scooby the door, Grrr." I'm not sure if this is actually in a Scooby movie, but it is a clear sign of his dislike.

One thing about Eva, that I'm not sure if I've ever written about is she will not put anything down. She says, "EEEEEE," until you grab it and put it down for her, such a Princess!

 

JJ got Cranium Hullabaloo from Lily for his birthday, even Eva likes "playing" with us.

 

JJ's preschool celebrated Dr Suess' birthday all week, we even celebrated with Green Eggs on Saturday, JJ's request. 

JJ hates the idea of taking a bath, but he always loves it. Eva would probably live in the bath, if I let her.

 

We went sledding and made a snowman on Saturday, thinking it will be the last time until next winter.  

Silliness ensues.

Eva calls her hair clips "pretties", probably because I always say pretty when I put them in her hair, in an effort to convince her to leave it in.
