On Sunday we returned from a week long trip to Lake Powell. We had a
great time. On the way down we took a short detour to Zions National
Park, we went for a little hike, it was a good chance to get the kids
moving a little bit. We also got a chance to visit the Glen Canyon Damn
visitors center, which was pretty cool.
JJ really took care of Eva while they were on the lake. On tube rides he would hold her hand, after knee boarding they submarine a little, he was right there to comfort her! What a sweet heart!
Here is JJ doing a 180 twist off a cliff. Eva got in on the action too, she would jump a foot or two. JJ got pretty comfortable at about 8 feet.
JJ would eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner on this ledge, the only way to get there is to climb!!! I enjoyed watching the boys chat when they got up there, it always seemed so serious.
Tubing!!!
JJ tried wake boarding for the first time, he did really well, he got up a few times for a few seconds, which I think is awesome for his first time, especially considering that he is 6, I didn't learn to wake board until I was 30.
Spencer and JJ knee boarding.
This is the only picture of the four of us, Cy stayed with Grandma's while we were away. Thanks Grandma Shauna and Julia, we know he was much happier at home!
Being silly!!!
We had a lot of stormy nights, but here Spencer and the kids were enjoying a nice night while I made them roasted marshmallows!
We are grateful that we got to go to Lake Powell and spend some quality time together!
1-2-3 GO FAMILY!!!
